Floating Side Menu

Supported Browsers: FF1+ IE5+ Opr7+

Features:

This mod places a floating menu on the right of all of your forum pages.

Edits:
  • Edit menuItems.js for link colors
  • Edit mmenu.js for bar, headers and other variables
  • Edit header template(s)
  • Instructions included within attached .zip file

Customization:
  • menuItems.js: use this file to name your menu and create your links
  • mmenu.js: use this file to customize the look of your menu
  • Refer to the "Properties" page for variable descriptions
  • Refer to the code below to adjust your link attributes within the menu (i.e., link text color, hover, visited). The code below is what you will be putting at the top of your "header" template. Items in red are editable:

It doesn't seem to be working on the live demo forum. Could you post a screen shot or something?

I apologize for not replying sooner...I have been very busy.

I have updated the details of this mod with corrected links to a demo page...as well as the "Properties" page for editing the variables within the menuItems.js file.

The demo page shows three menus: Left, Right and Top. This mod was designed for the "right" menu position.

I no longer support this mod, but you can find all the information you need here, or at dynamicdrive.com for modifying this script and incorporating it on your own forum.

Though I no longer support this mod, the directions are self-explanatory and this menu is being used on several different vbulletin forums.

I will add some screenshots, as well, keep in mind...I no longer have need for this mod on my forum, so you will not see it there.
