Thanks. That's exactly what I ment. It looks great on both styles.
No problems with the templates, so far...

It is a great Mod. I just got the nerves to install a few mod for myself, and this was one of them, I also install the weather mod. I must tell you, the weather mod comes in handy and the Avatar/Image Reflection Effect looks great. I will now attempt to give it to only a few of my guys.

Oh it's usergroup configurable? I didn't know that. That's a good thing.

it does not look like it is user group configurable. Lets see if Tralala or loco can make it configurable.

couldn't a set of <if conditions just be placed around the postbit code to limit usergroups ?

Then follow the instructions included with the mod. It's a template modification.

Setting Up
Upload reflection.js and prototype.js and include them into your webpage.
<script type="text/javascript" src="reflection.js"></script>
Using It
To add a reflection just add a class="reflect" to the image. View source to see example.

Where to put this?
Could you please tell step by step.......
I feel like idiot!

Where are you reading those notes from?
The download in the first post of this thread has a README file attached, called "avatar_image_reflection_effect_README.txt"
Read that. It has step by step instructions, for each template you might wish to change.

My question is how did you download it without the minimum 5 post requirement?

That is not the same as this. This is based on it. So you need to go there for your support.

Thanks, I've installed this, on vB3.6.5, and it 'seems' to be working fine, a bit of a load delay, after the page loads before they 'pop' into place, and reflections for animated images only show in IE, and even then, there is a time off-set for the animation, so although some animations seem quite fine, others are really wacked out .
Thanks for the great MOD though!

Re: Avatar/Image Reflection Effect
I' ve installed it from somewhere else and I had a problem. The reflection effect included and my site's logo, which it wasn't good. Is that fixed in this release?

I'm confused by what you're saying. Your site's logo is reflected and you don't want it to be? There are no instructions included with this mod to get the site logo to reflect.

Re: Avatar/Image Reflection Effect
When I tried it, it did that. There was reflection on the avatar and the site's logo. I will try the product again and I will let you know.

Re: Avatar/Image Reflection Effect
I'm very interested in this effect. It's quite attractive. I've used this technique for various other images in some of my older layouts way back when iTunes started to use this effect. But I don't remember using JavaScript. Great going. I plan on installing it.
