Post vBSEO.com 1.0 Style Released for vBSEO-enabled forums

Hello everyone,

I'm glad to announce we are now making the vBSEO skin available officially as a non-supported product.

There has been a very strong demand from our user base for this skin. Once our vBSEO 3.0 GOLD release was finalized, we made it a priority to get our skin into the hands of all vBSEO customers who have been requesting it.

Just for some background insight, here is the basic philosophy that we adhered to while designing the skin:
  • Provide the maximum Search Engine Optimization value, with the minimal number of derivations from the vBulletin original.

  • Reflect the spirit of the original vBulletin theme.

  • Provide semantic value to the html output assigning highest significance to the site's name/logo (H1 in our case), H2 for the page title in forumdisplay and showthread, and intro in paragraph format using Relevant Replacements. This can be easily converted to an image logo/H1 forumdisplay and showthread title, H2 navbar breadcrumb (or H2 bulleted site navigation) and H3 for individual post titles, or similar layouts. Please discuss here.

  • Maximum Search Engine Optimization value, with the minimal number of derivations from the vBulletin original skin.

  • Reflect the spirit of the original vBulletin theme.

  • Keep enhanced usability a top priority.

This much anticipated release is just one of several important announcements from vBSEO that will occur during the next few months!

Thank-you for your continued support.
