I made a new vBSEO info page for those looking for more info on vBSEO. It's basically the same as the one at Crawlability that no one ever seems to find. And yes I got permision to re-use the content.

Feel free to link to it if you need to give anyone info. I just ask that you use the same basic keyword structure in the link that I used above.

I fine tuned the vBulletin version info a bit since it's pre 3.6.x and it may need a little more updating. If you see anything let me know.

I am seriously considering purchasing vBSEO - but I've only heard a few reports that its a good commercial modifcation, and others that haven't seen a difference since installing it. I don't want to install the Demo, only to find it doesn't work as well as expected, then need to remove it - because they may affect my overall Page Ranking.

I know alot affects your Page Ranking - but how long have you been using it on here? Just curious...

So basically, do you recommend this modification?

I recommend it. It took me a long time to become willing to try it. I have some threads on this site stating the improvements I have seen in the 3 months or so since I installed it. You can see on the page listed above all the features it offers. And I don't think that page includes the latest ones yet such as social bookmarks and trackbacks. It does Search Engine Optimization well but it also does so much more.

I bought it after being bombarded by CM's praises!! LOL

Seems like I am getting a lot more traffic from the search engines than my other site. I'll be posting my two-week numbers from the bots tomorrow. My newest site has only been online a total of three weeks, the first week of course being all set up time.

If nothing else, by posting all this it will give us all one piece of data to look at, since I installed vbseo before a single bot had found my site.
