I you like dark styles and subtle reds then check out the new Andromeda Style over at vBSkinworks. Classy stuff from John with quality images created by Shelly from vBImageworks.

It's definately the style I will be browsing their site with. I wish I had a site to put it on.

nice start I'd say, though the icons could be better, some are default ones and they have a white pixel surrounding, not perfect yet, but for sure if the designer puts a little time in there.

But I prefer light templates, it is to dark for my pleasure but that's personal to each

I think you are looking at something else. Their styles are excellent and cover the details in all regards. Plus, John goes the extra mile and gives you a second one free. Can't beat that IMO.

The icon that was hurting me in the rather well done style is attached. Other icons are ok and then you have this one and it is just eye catching.

THe rest is indeed nice and smooth

I know those little icons aren't easy, and I never understood why vBulletin always lets a 1 pixels white around it. Guess it is showing better on the standard style.

It can be tough running a one person show it's either support pulls you from working on projects or projects pull you from support. I'm sure if you post in the right forums in a patient and pleasant mannor then John will take care of it. He is a good guy.

It wasn't the activation that worried me, and I am well aware of the time restraints real life puts on people. Also know my timezone is shocker to comunicate with people in Real time.
Its just that I reported bugs in both emeralld style and the backslash style, and had either no reply or a very limited reply.

I have also run into problems trying to edit the psd's so as to make them more specific to my forum. eg editing the logos and so forth.
But one problem at a time
