vb3 arcade uninstall?

i installed vb3 arade then moved to ipro. in my admin cp i try to run the uninstall...i ended up w/ a error and it wont let me. i deleated some files off my server to get new arcade to work. now i was forced to leave old arcade disabled or it crashes my site. but i can uninstall it. i search around on vBulletin.org and cant find a solution. any ideas?

I'm wondering if you installed at 3.5x and tried to uninstall at 3.6x and there are some table changes. Hard to tell unless you post the errors.

yea i did. it was installed 3.5 and tried removing at 3.6

Database error in vBulletin 3.6.3:

Invalid SQL:
ALTER TABLE usergroup DROP arcadepermissions;

MySQL Error : Can't DROP 'arcadepermissions'; check that column/key exists
Error Number : 1091

So it's saying that arcadepermissions is not there to drop.

Have you tried upgrading to the latest vbarcade then uninstalling?

no i havent... any suggestions on how to do that or what to look out for w/o messing up my iproarcade?

like just installing the product and not the files? is that a possibity?

Yes, as long as you aren't using it. But I think it uses files in the install so I would upload all the new files, run the install, then uninstall it.

wow thank you... it worked... i just uploaded the new product and overwrote it. then i uninstalled.

That's great to hear. Sometimes the install xml isn't configured right and tables don't get updated. So you must have had that happen in a prior upgrade, install. Which also could be the reason you wanted to get rid of it.
