About This Page: This is a discussion on Unread threads bold? within the vBulletin Modifications forums, part of the vBulletin Discusions category, at vBulletin Modification Discussions. In my style, new threads do not show up in bold. Its very hard to tell which threads you havn't read. I imagine its simple to fix, does anyone know how? Cheers.

Just compare the templates for that section betweeen the new and default style. Where did you get the style?

Found it.

It is in the threadbits template, the code I pasted in was:

Code:
<if condition="$show['gotonewpost']"><a href="showthread.php?$session[sessionurl]goto=newpost&amp;t=$thread[threadid]" id="thread_gotonew_$thread[realthreadid]"><img class="inlineimg" src="$stylevar[imgdir_button]/firstnew.gif" alt="$vbphrase[go_to_first_new_post]" border="0" /></a></if>
			$thread[movedprefix]
			$thread[typeprefix]
			$thread[moderatedprefix]
			<a href="showthread.php?$session[sessionurl]t=$thread[threadid]$thread[highlight]" id="thread_title_$thread[realthreadid]"<if condition="$show['gotonewpost']"> style="font-weight:bold"</if>>$thread[threadtitle]</a>
			<if condition="$thread['pagenav']">$stylevar[dirmark]<span class="smallfont" style="white-space:nowrap">(<img class="inlineimg" src="$stylevar[imgdir_misc]/multipage.gif" alt="$vbphrase[multipage_thread]" border="0" /> $thread[pagenav]<if condition="$show[pagenavmore]"> ... <a href="showthread.php?$session[sessionurl]t=$thread[threadid]&amp;page=$thread[totalpages]$thread[highlight]">$vbphrase[last_page]</a></if>)</span></if>
		</div>

good deal. You may want to notify the style creator of the problem and the fix.

Also, when someone posts a hyperlink it shows up as normal text, so theres no way to tell that its a link.

Anyone know how to make links bold?

That would be in your CSS settings.
