I would think you would have to add queries to achieve this. I see some sites do this but I have never seen a native variable that is available on all pages.

I am using Paul M's mod on After Seppuku, but not on Foto Fanatix. It is a plugin/product and works great, but won't fit my style as well on Foto Fanatix.

Maybe I can look at it the code and figure it out, but I don't have too much faith in myself in that department! lol

Just had a thought, too...

On vBaCMPS it uses a variable to show how many new posts. That would work for me. I'd like to use it on my forumehome, too.

You mind looking at the Welcome template for CMPS and see if you can tell me how to do that for ForumHome? Please....

If I get some time I will snoop around for you. I'm in the middle of about five different custom jobs right now though. You might want to PM smacklan and point him to this thread. He has that on his site above the PM box so it might just be an existing mod.

Whenever you get the chance. I know Smacklan is using Paul's mod. I don't want to make that box any bigger. I just need the variable and want to play with it. Have an idea that I'd like to turn into a Mod for my site and I'll release it here for others to use if they want.

I know yer busy, so whenever. Cheers.
