What would you consider to be the Top 5 mods to have installed on your board? Of course, this will vary from board to board depending on what the theme of your community is, but generally speaking, are there 'must haves'?

Hi LBC,

my first mod of the Top 5 is TMS (template modification system). This mod is a must have for every vBulletin admin.

1. Template Modification System
2. Zoints Thread Tags
3. Goldbrick Media Addon
4. DownloadsII
5. photoplog
6. much more...

A list of Top 5 is too little. Top 50 would be better because there are many very good addons.

Does anyone know of any vbulletins that use all of those top 5 that hangman has just listed? I would like to see them all in action.

You can see 2.-5. in action at Mobilfunk-FAQ - Powered by vBulletin. It's in german and you can use this mods as guest except up- and downloading files. To see the Goldbrick Media go to post 3, 8 and 9 of this thread or to the last site. For photoplog click on "Fotogallerie" on the main site and for DownloadsII click on "Downloads" at top right.

I really can't put a top five together. I am a huge fan of photopost though. I also like the casino mod. My members all have gambling problems.

haha mine are a bit different, although i'm only just starting out!

The arcade is a big one on mine (not to mention how proud i was that i installed it all myself )
I also love the miserable users and boot off one too. (which comes in handy for the lurkers)
Mine are a bit more of 'show one's than your ones...i kinda don't even knwo what your fav ones actually do even after checking out the site Hangman suggested to see them.
Looking forward to finiding more that i like

its hard to say, but the members love the arcade and casino. i happen to like the inhanced captch image verification at log in. stops spambots dead in there tracks. the members of my board like the little things. like sparkly links. sounds trivial, but if i took away all the mods, sparklie links would be one of the first things they notice missing. lol.

yup ... sparkly links. believe it or not. lol. whenever you hover your mouse over a link, it displays little sparklies in the background of the link area.

its the most installed modification to the vBulletin message board. at least thats how its advertised. i believe it too ... its a big hit on my board. check out this thread ibproarcade at vBulletin.org.

The most favorite mod on our website is the chatbox - mgc_evo_chatbox is great! We have conversations going with 7 or 8 people from all around the world at once! When it didn't work for a few days after I updated to 3.7.0, all our members were VERY upset
