Tags Hack Questions

I'd like to get a little more information on the tags hack. I see that you have it installed here on vbModder and think it could be a useful tool on my site as well. Any information about the benefits or where to dl the hack would be greatly appreciate.

Thanks,

the mod at is vbulletin.org
Code Monkey has made a sitemap addon for the thread tags

I think it's a decent mod, I'm still experimenting with it. I've had other say they get several referrals from zoints.com's thread cloud, but I really haven't seen to many from them.. I see the pages are indexed in google, so I'm happy

I have gotten quite a few referals from the main tag cloud there for both the sites I installed it on. Not like google referals but still they are referals and they do it for free so it's not a bad deal.

What do you think the proper way is to handle tags? Is more the merrier? Just the main key words? I've been putting around 6 - 10 per thread I create on my forum, is that overkill? Thanks for any feedback.

Well, it hasn't happened on this site. But on another site I added them on many are showing up as supplemental results. It could just be that google hasn't recached the older threads since then and doesn't see the links to them yet. But I did notice that the ones that are supplemental were the more lame words. So I would say keep them relevent even if it's only one tag for the thread.
