Need Help

Hello Folks:

I have a vBulletin forum that is presently suffering. Several weeks ago I had an upgrade performed to the latest vB version. Ever since then nothing has worked properly and some things don't work at all. The AdminCP no longer controls the CMPS Portal, you are no longer automatically redirected to the next page, when typing a post you can make no new paragraph... all scentences run together, several functions on the editor mode no longer works, and the list goes on. The same person who did the upgrade has tried to fix it but he cannot.

I need a quality vBulletin specialist to fix those issues. Is anyone availabe to do that kind of work?

Thanks

Did you do all the template edits that come with an upgrade?

I did everything that I know how to do... which is not much. My skills are limited. My "self-proclaimed" vBulletin expert did all he can do... which is probably not much either. I must question the depth of his skills. I am now at a complete loss on what to do. What do you think?

How about creating a new database and then reinstall it to a new path and then bring over the old database to the new forum?

Right on the top of your admincp page it should tell you how many templates need to be updated. What version did you upgrade from?

Have you tried seeing if it works with the default style?

Thanks for your input, however like I said, my vBulletin skills are limited. I do not know how to properly do the things you've suggested.

I was hoping to find someone or some company that specializes in vBulletin work who I could hire to perform all necessary repairs. I have posted similar messages on different forums and have been surpised as to the lack of response from anyone who does this work. I even did an internet search for this type of vB specialist. I emailed a few websites asking for a quote... but got no response. So, am I asking for too much?

Can anyone suggest a vBulletin specialist willing to do this type of work?

Thanks
