Yeah, the files that come with it don't seem to work as well. I usually get them from the ioncube site.
I would recomend using the /f12/ type format for forums so you have no worries if you change a forum name. And also move the thread id's, post ids to a place after the thread title so it's not the first thing google see's.

What error would that be?
What didn't you understand? You need to go into vbseocp.php and optimize your settings. I can give you an xml to import that will make your links like ours if you wish.

Monster Designs Forums
On that page down the bottom of IE it says there is an error..
Code:
Line: 88
Char: 4
Error: '1' is null or not an object
Code: 0
URL: http://www.monster-designs.com/forums/
Any idea on what that is?
And yes I'll try your xml please.

THat is is IE's stupid useless method of reporting javascript errors. Nothing to do with vBSEO or such.
Get the Firebug extension for Firefox and it will give you usefull info on javascript errors.

Ok, I got the error on your forum page. It looks like you installed the mark forums read extension. That has to be modded to work with vBSEO.

No, I need to dig into the 3.6 code that does their mark read thing and see how I can piggy back it to add my enhancements and reduce the reduntant code.Iv'e been doing a lot of install and customization work for customers so I have been too busy.

Only time will fix those. Google will follow old urls for some time to come. And unreachable just means your server or the net at large was not cooperating when it looked for the page. When it looks again and finds it it will go away. Time heals all wounds.
