Where do think is the best place on a vBulletin forum to stick the script they provide?
I am planning on putting in my vBPortal and my Forumhome... |

For your new site, just enter the id into your vBSEO and tell it to load the code for you.
On other sites, always put stuff like that in your footer. this is so your site doesn't hang when there is a delay across the net. There will still be a pause during trouble but at least the page will have loaded and be usable.

the way I did is indeed in the footer, sometimes the code indeed seems to hang for a bit, but... knowing how many nutties like us use it, I can imagine the server load with Google.

You can find the p/w in your config file.

yeah, yeah... which is odd, as I have about a 1/2 dozen I always select from, but apparently it wasn't one of those.

FYI - after hitting the support forums at vbseo, seems you have to reset your password to null. (eg. '') as it is now encrypted...
Okay... I am in and Analytics is running... now to figure out what it means!!

there is so much in there.. depending on what you want to do, you can even make tunnels and follow traffic etc.. all for free.. realy nice tools
And as said CM, let it run for at least a week so it starts to give accurate data and analyses. Don't go read it each hour yet

They have to accumulate some data for you to see. Take a deep breath. Or have a beer.

I am not much of a beer drinker, so I guess I better work on the deep breath thing!

Yes they actually recommend you place it just before the close body tag.

Does the footer ensure that javascript code will load up last? I read somewhere that the code should be put into the <body onload = > because that will make it load last. Has anyone heard of doing this, or if it can be done in VBulletin?

Silly me!
I didn't realize that vBSEO had this option, and I added the code to the footer template instead.
All are updated now.
Thanks for the tip, Code Monkey.
