About This Page: This is a discussion on Altering vbulletin terms and conditions within the vBulletin Modifications forums, part of the vBulletin Discusions category, at vBulletin Modification Discussions. Hi, my site will be similar to youtube in that it will host potentially pre-copyrighted material. How do I alter my signup terms and conditions to protect my organisation from germinal legal motion? What file needs to be adjusted?

I suppose you mean the terms used while register.
Search for phrase forum_rules_description in Phrase manager.

In vBulletin setting under Site Name / URL / Contact Details you can add a Privacy Statement URL. It will show in the footer.

The best way to determine these types of things is to look at the template used for that page and see what phrase variable is there. Then look that up in search phrases.

forum_rules_description
is the exact phrase.
Remember to only search for phrase name not the text.
It is under Phrasegroup Register.
