All over this one!!!!

I would like to see an area/sub-forums dedicated to programming/coding...

I often have simple ideas ( <-that sounds bad!! ) that I simply do not know the syntax for or how to implement. I'd love to have an area where we can say - how do I write a cron that will do this, or will this array work like this, etc...

Oh yeah... and a few clear cut rules stickies or s sub-forum delineating what YOU want would be good!!!

Most of my suggestions are graphically based. I won't say as I'm not sure whether these will be accomodated and relevant to the kind of feedback you want.

However, away from graphics. I would think that a forum critique/site critique area would go down well (pending you get the appopriate people) giving constructive/helpfull reviews.

You mean like this? http://vbmodder.com/forums/f24/

Feel free to submit any ideas graphic or not. I am all ears. This is not certain other sites that shoot down your ideas. All ideas may not get implenented but they are certainly respected and apreciated. And who knows, you just may make a difference.

Shelley's oblivious to viewing forum critique areas.

I know we have discussed this before and your happy with your logo but I personally feel that a better more appropriately designed logo would look better to convey your site.

My offer will always be open to you if and when you ever feel the need that a logo change is deemed necessary.

Well, this thread is about topical forums. But nothing is ever stoping you from creating some striking examples and puting up an opinion poll.

I'm about to introduce a "knowledge base" catergory on my site and I think you wouldn't go wrong in having the same here were members could submit tutorials, faqs, tips and other usefull documentation.

>Knowledge base
>> Faqs >> Tutorials >> Articles >> Misc Documentation
then underneath a submission area were documentation would need to be approved by staff to retain a level of quality with regards to the submissions being submitted.

So you're saying I should expand the current tutorial section then? Might be a good idea. I have the posts moderated now so only approved posts go through. Haven't seen too many tutorials submitted though.
