I don't sell mods directly. In fact the site is only still up to support those that have my mods. But all my mods are available to those that donate to the upkeep of this place through the subscription manager. Subscribers are automatically licensed to use all my mods I have available.

I followed the link in top nav bar "Welcome cbpayne! Click Here To Subscribe. " - it goes to the UserCP and there are NO normal vBulletin Subscription features there.

It's installed here so just go into your usercp and setup your location code. Then it will be included at the bottom of forum home.

If you click the weather type icon on the left (sun, moon, clouds, etc) it opens up for more info displayed.

It still worked on my vBulletin 3.7 test board but it was already installed before the upgrade. So it works in 3.7 AFAIK but I have no idea if it installs. It should install fine though. Unless they made changes to the install procedures themselves.

I still can't d/load any mods at all CM

It says up the top thanks for subscribing (which i paid a fee yesterday through paypal and have my reciept) but i'm unable to d/load anything as yet

Where can i d/load this mod also?? I can only see thumbnails and thats it!

There is now a second labeled version of vBWeather to deal with the new security updates from Jelsoft. So if you are running vBulletin 3.6.10 or greater, or 3.7.4 RC4 or greater, then use the new version for those or it will not function. For all prior versions of vBulletin use the older version.

That's a complex issue. Right now after years of ignoring the feature weather.com is evaluating all licenses. They may just tell us we don't meet the requirements. And that's because they require like 5 linkbacks and several images. So when they contact me I will just tell them no. People aren't going to put something like that on their forum page. We'll see how it goes with them.

On another note, your talking about putting peoples location on their page for others to see? That's not going to fly with most people. If it's just for the member then yes it may be cool. But really, how many people are going to want that?

It could be permission based in user CP. Sometimes they choose to put their location in their profile anyways.

Yes, I received an email from them:

I went to the site to check things out and went through the procedure of this and that.
Was directed from page to page, back and forth with options for advertisng subscriptions .

In the end I got fed up with it it all and just closed the window/s
I did notice however that they now say that additional linkback images (advertising) must be displayed. For the moment I've disabled this MOD until I figure out exactly what is going on. Damn them for this, advertising linkbacks .
