CM, just looking at this mod, it currently reads for me as follows:
Rain - 7° C Feels Like 4° C - Humidity: 93%
would it be possible to change the - before the temperature? At quick glance it looks like -7C which is bloody cold!
perhaps replace it with a comma or a colon or something?

I make my own mods available to subscribers only. This is how we pay the bills at vBulletin Modder. Just go to you paid subscriptions page in your usercp.

Hello Monkey, I have a custom field for City in my registration page. Is it possible to auto-load this city field into the vbweather hack? Or better, to automatically set the weather.com code when you fill in your city when new members register?
That would be great and the hack could be complete in my opinion.
My 2 cents. Gonna buy soon too.

No, because the city will return a list of choices world wide. There is no way to know which one applies to the user. Plus, some don't want to see their weather for some strange reason. Go figure.

Yeap, I went over my post and it was kind of pointless and some user privacy would be violated (depending on each site's policy).
BTW, I just got 5 posts, I can buy now

Thanks for the great mod Code Monkey.
I know you want your community to develop but this minumum post thing is a bit tight. If the forum content is good and the members are inteclectually solid then your community will grow naturally..
I couldn't find any info on the homepage about how to download vbweather either. I only registered myself to use the search function. |

pooman, I felt the same way. but i am very happy that i was force to read this forum just to find places to post. you may have come looking for weather mod, but you will find a whole lot more.
