I'll be at home, alone. My son is going to his dad's house for the holiday, and all of my family lives in Florida. So, I have noone to spend it with and nowhere to go, so I'll probably be sitting here, designing.

Hope everyone enjoys their day, what ever they're doing.
It's just another day here in the U.K.

Well I decided not to sit home alone. I volunteered at a shelter for battered women and childred that is run by a local church. I just arrived home after helping to serve brunch and playing with the children.
It was a heart-wrenching and humbling experience.
I give thanks to God above that, for even as hard as the past 1 1/2 years have been for me and my son... divorce, pulling up roots to move to a strange state, his being diagnosed with Asperger and ADHD, etc... he knows that he is loved, and he is secure in my love.
hmmmm I think I need to call him to say "I love you".

Ditto for me as well, on THIS side of the ocean too! Today marks the 72nd day, of my 72hr work weeks. About all I have time to do is Work, Eat, and Repeat!...oh yeah, and install some vbModder MODs too!
I work at a Nuclear Plant, and we're (hopefully) wrapping up our longest Modification & ReFueling Outage we'll ever go through. So was nice to awaken and find Code Monkey's message about this thread in my inbox before heading back into work (yet) again.
Gave me a good reason to stop back by and wish all a Happy & Bountiful day here. I hope everyone got to spend some quality time with the meaningful people in their life.

As usuall I ate too much. Saw some cousins I hadn't seen in awhile. Most of my relatives have migrated all over the country now so the family dinners aren't the same as when we were kids. But still, it's good to see family.

ha, ha, As long as I'm working I don't think they'd care one way or the other.(i.e. dead or alive) Good news is, the end is finally in sight: December 11th we should be wrapping up our final testing and back online soon thereafter.(i.e. producing power) Heck then, just working 8hr/day, 5days/wk I'll feel like a part-time employee!

Your going to go through withdrawls. To compensate you can spend the extra time here sweeping floors and taking out the trash.

Had a good day. The wife cooked, it was great as usual.
Leftover turkey sandwiches were had. Life is good
