Is there a reason why you have so many posts per page before pagination? I seem to be scrolling forever on some threads.

You can set your own preference in the user control panel. It's the default for guests. That way, we keep posts linked to for the search engines for a longer period of time.

I should add that everything on this site is always an experiment. So I change settings all the time to see what effects they have.

I've actually wondered about that myself. Seems to me, more data per page would be better for the Search Engine Optimization for two reasons. 1) More data. 2)The data will be 'updated' with each new post, whereas if it is on page 2, etc... only those pages are being updated.

Just my two bits, which at today's rates isn't worth a thing! lol

I didn't realise you can change that setup in the UserCP. Thanks mate, I do now!

Actually I think that makes sense. I've recently finished a course in digital marketing, and this was something that came up. It does certainley help Search Engine Optimization, but do members really want to have to scroll to through a vast number of posts? Its hardly user friendly (though I do realise code monkey has said you can select number of posts).

Pretty much everything done on this site is an experiment to see how Google responds and is temporary.
