The Chase Is On
Anyone a Nascar Fan? I spent most Saturday nights of my childhood hanging out at the local racetrack while my dad worked the pits. So it's in my blood. I'm hoping for a Kevin Harvick duo crown. He would be the first ever to win the championship for both the Busch series and the Cup series. To me that is exciting.
I was a long time Dale Earnhardt fan so I still root for RCR and the GM Goodwrench car. I wonder what he would have thought about the new chase format.

I'm a Kevin Harvick + Mark Martin fan so I'm pretty happy that they both made the chase.
Man, wouldn't it be something for Martin to win the whole darn thing? After so much success in the Busch he could retire on a high note. Then again, a lot of the Roush guys have had a rough year. The whole team seems to be going backwards at times.
I think Harvick has a reasonable chance. I wouldn't mind seeing him win it. Anyone but Jimmie Johnson. I can't stand that guy. He creeps me out.

Johnson or Busch. bleh
Harvick won the pole in grand fashion today so he is on a roll. Johnson is going to have a hard time getting to the front on a flat track so I think he will slip in this race.
Martin is not going to retire anytime soon. He is on a Rolling Stones final tour type of season. There will be another one.

Kevin Harvick took care of bussiness in the second practice as well. I have a good feeling about this race. As long as some dummy doesn't do something stupid in front of him while getting lapped I expect a good race. I wonder if it will be on at the bowling alley. My youngest sons BD party is there tommorow. I'll have to sneak off to the bar a few times.

Should be an exciting race with Gordon starting up front with Harvick.
Enjoy the bar!

That's my dream to go to Bristol night race in the Fall.
Looks like Speed Vision is in trouble with Nascar and RCR.

Yeah it was a bunch of crap. They pronounced it on tv with no official responce from Nascar. Turns out it was Crap. And you know if it was true Nascar would be all over them.
Irrisponsible journalism that doesn't understand the competitive nature of the pits and how willing people are to pread distracting misinfo on other teams.
